Country music icon Carrie Underwood, posted a picture on her Instagram announcing the start of ticket sales for her first shows in 2024. Wearing a short silver jumpsuit, she displayed a slight belly, which did not go unnoticed by fans.

“She is beautiful. Carrie looks like a baby might be…” commented a fan. “I was thinking the same thing,” another replied. “Baby bump?!?!” asked a user.

At 40 years old, the singer is already a full-time mom to her two sons — Isaiah, 9, and Jacob, 5. She is happily married to former NHL player Mike Fisher, the father of the kids.

Reflecting on motherhood, Underwood shares, “There is a thing about motherhood that makes you feel like, ‘Okay, if I can do that, I can do anything.’” She adds, “And I feel like I’m a little older, a little wiser. This isn’t my first rodeo.”

Despite her busy life, Underwood dreams of expanding her family. As a devoted daughter, mother, and Christian, she is considering adopting children once her biological kids are a bit older.

“We may have missed our chance to have a big family. We always talk about adoption and about doing it when our child or children are a little older. In the meantime, we’re lucky to be a part of organizations that help kids,” she said in the interview.

Underwood has been an unwavering supporter of the Save the Children Fund, an organization dedicated to aiding the one in five children facing poverty in the United States. Back in 2010, a portion of the proceeds from every ticket sold for her shows went directly to this foundation.

The singer recognizes how privileged she is and makes sure not to take things for granted. With her family by her side and an amazing career in front of her, Underwood can’t be anything but grateful for what she has.

“I get to do what I love, I have an incredible family. I have Mike, I have Isaiah, I have great parents. I have all of these amazing people around me, and I don’t want to complain, ever,” Underwood shared in the interview.

Carrie Underwood is raising her two sons, Mike and Isaiah, away from the public eye. However, as we reported on January 22nd, she shared a family moment on her son Jacob’s fifth birthday.

Carrie Underwood’s recent Instagram share showed the resemblance between Jacob and his father, former NHL player Mike Fisher, and it fascinated fans. One fan remarked on Jacob’s choice of attire, an Ottawa Senators jersey, highlighting the connection to his father’s hockey legacy. “Love that he’s wearing an Ottawa Senators jersey… following in his dad’s footsteps,” the fan commented. Another added, “I bet he’ll play ice hockey when he grows up, just like his daddy.”

Underwood and Fisher, openly sharing their family life with fans, welcomed Jacob in January 2019. This joyous event was shared on Instagram, where they expressed their happiness, with both parents and his older brother thrilled at his arrival.

However, the journey to Jacob’s birth was marked by challenges. Underwood faced significant fertility struggles, enduring three miscarriages over two years — in early 2017, spring of the same year, and early 2018.

In speaking about these difficult times, Underwood shared how she coped by focusing on work to distract herself from the emotional pain, emphasizing that dwelling on the issue would only exacerbate her distress. Today, Underwood is a proud mother of two, having navigated through these trials.
